ICRAVE Oneness With God

“The memory of God comes to the quiet mind.  It cannot come where there is conflict.  For a mind that is at war with itself, remembers not eternal gentleness.  What you remember is a part of you, for you must be as God created you.  That all this madness be undone and return in peace to the remembrance of God still shining in your quiet mind.”

– Course of Miracles
  • Meditation, and just being in nature, and being at peace are the only way that you can begin to approximate the knowing of that oneness.

This ego is virtually the source of all of our problems.

  • Ambition is what happens when we take on the ego.
  • It is when we “Edge God Out.”

“All unhappiness is due to the ego.  With it comes all your trouble.  If you would deny the ego and scorch it by ignoring it, you would be free.”

- Ramana Maharshi

Your ego thinks it is separate from God and from every one else.

  • There are no others.  You are not separate from anyone.
  • “No tree has branches so foolish as to fight themselves.”

When you succeed in connecting your energy with the divine realm through higher awareness, you succeed in allowing yourself to live from a place of higher awareness

  • With God all things are possible.
    • And that leaves out no thing

God’s will is always “I am.”

  • There is only one I AM and your infinite self is that I AM
    • Your will is always “I will be.”
    • In the law of consumption, your consciousness of being is the Father’s will.
    • The mere wish without this consciousness is “my will.”

Carlos Castaneda’s teacher Don Juan Matus told Carlos, “You are born into a room of daily awareness.  This room is one room in a mansion that has a thousand rooms in it and you stay in that one room for your whole life.” (this is the room of ego).

  • There is a way to get out of the room and go into the other 999 rooms and to get out of the house altogether without having to die.
  • Enter into new realms of awareness where miracles are not something that you hope for, or that you think happen to other people; but they are a part of who you are.
  • As you practice virtues and live them, this is how the door opens.
  • You keep pushing, and looking for the exit.  Then you realize that the doorway out of the room of daily awareness opens inward.  All you have to do is step back, go within, align yourself with God, begin to think and act as Spirit thinks.
  • There are no more struggles because you now access the guidance that wasn’t there for you before.
  • This is why you meditate to get to the place of oneness and no division.  When you get to that within yourself, that is when the teacher starts showing up.  “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.
  • You are already connected to the guidance.
  • You need to tune yourself to your original nature.

If you contemplate with thoughts that match originating spirit (God), then you will have the same power as originating spirit and you gain the cooperation of divine mind, attracting and fulfilling your desires.”

  • You shift out of the excuse that things can’t/won’t happen into “I can/will have the same power as originating spirit.”
  • Contemplation is a kind of action in and of itself, which sets into motion all of the creative forces in the universe.
  • You attract in this world not what you want, but what you are.

Your intuition begins to “kick in” when you get to a God-realized place, and practice reverence for life.

  • The magic of allowing – Trusting and knowing that when you understand how you align yourself to your “original nature” – that is your nature of wellbeing.
    • “The body is the hero,” not any medicine, surgeries, etc.
  • Life is not meaningful unless it is of value to someone else.
    • You will never find meaning through your ego.

“Dissolving the mind is a matter of not doing.  Simply avoid being attached to what you see and what you think.  Relinquish the notion that you are separated from the all-knowing mind of the universe. Clarity and enlightenment are within your own nature.  If you correct your mind, the rest of your life will fall into place.”

“To correct your mind, rely on not doing.  Stop thinking and clinging to complications.  Keep your mind detached and whole.  Eliminate mental muddiness and obscurity.  Keep your mind crystal clear.  Avoid day dreaming and allow your pure original insight to emerge.  Quiet your emotions and abide in serenity.”
