The real important reason for going into that quiet place (prayer/meditating) is because it will introduce you to the way to come to know God.
God has been described as something that is indivisible – there is only one.
- It is everywhere and every place.
- It is a presence that is in all things and in all places.
- In mathematics, the number that cannot be divided any further no matter how many times you cut it in half, is zero.
The equivalent to that as a human being is what we call silence.
- If you cut silence in half, you get more silence.
- It is the only experience you can have in your life that allows you to go to the place within you that is indivisible – that can no longer be divided.
- And, in that sense, what it does is allows you to make conscious contact with God.
- We call this the experience of God.
Re-source: Reintegrate
God is not a withholding God. We can connect and tune into his source.
- God will be the same God one hour from now that he is now, so it is not something we do that makes him treat us better; he is the same God.
- So tune into it.
It is all a matter of spacing – Go from “nowhere” to “now here”.
Go back to that place where you have a great sense of awe and mystery.
- More important, you don’t have any anger in you towards the world.
- You don’t look at other people’s appearance and their conduct and say “I don’t like them.”
“Namaste” – I celebrate in you the place where we are all one.
