Train your brain with beliefs that you want to have.

  • Have daily rituals for goal achievement, not goal setting.

Write down your life goals and read them every day.

  • Run your fingers across them as you read it.
  • Close your eyes and feel them as if they were true.
    • (Visualize)(Emotionalize)
  • This creates new neural patterns in your brain

Write down what you would have to believe about yourself.

  • Ex. smart deserving, worthy, etc.
  • Record those things.  Listen to your recordings over and over until you can recite every one of them (power of repetition)

Focus on progress vs perfection

  • Keep getting better
  • When your old patterns try to fight for their life, make a conscious effort to create your new positive belief. 

Emotionalize to rewire circuits in the brain

  • Activate the reward center
  • Build Positive emotion around it
  • Activate the motivational center of the brain

Learning and knowing “how to” is simple. It is more important to understand “Why am I not doing what I should be doing”

  • It’s not about learning and knowing skills, but instead how think about yourself, and change your habits

Create a Vision Board for seeing what you want

  • “Brush and prime” – keep your goals written on the mirror so you review them in the morning and at night while brushing your teeth.

Create an Accomplishment Board for reminding yourself of all your past accomplishments so you feel good.

  • Especially during the times that you don’t think you will be able to achieve certain things.

Your subconscious controls 95-98% of your thoughts and emotions

Understand “what is your story” – what is the story you tell yourself?

  • Our stories keep recreating our lives over and over
    • We have a health story, money story, relationship story, etc.
    • We have beliefs that support our story, we have habits that support our story, we have people that support our story, systems that support our story, etc.
  • The big question – Who would you be with a different story!

People have a map of reality

  • Any deviation of that map (to that Visual representation) that we have in our brains that doesn’t match the map, our brains delete or distort it.

In addition to learning knowledge and skills, develop new set points

  • Behave and feel the way you need to feel (to earn or become what you want) and over a period of time, it becomes part of the brain’s default mode network
  • So we develop set points for everything
  • Learn how to reset the set points in the brain
  • Visualization – start to see yourself of achieving the next level of your success (income, relationship, health, etc.)
  • Start in your mind and impress that through conscious efforts into the subconscious mind
    • It then causes thought and emotion and behaviors.
  • Use language patterns as well that empower instead of dis-empower
    • ex. “release weight instead of lose weight”
      • if you lose something, you go looking for it
