Learning to transform your negative attitude doesn’t stop with your inner view. You also have to be honest about how your attitudes about the outside world are holding you back.
- It is possible to take adversity and turn it into an opportunity for success.
- Internally rewire and shift the way you see the world, so you are resilient and programmed to survive through any failure, obstacle and setback.
Pitfalls are worry, fear, and failure
- Anxiety is useless. It robs you of valuable energy that could instead be channeled positively
- Anticipation is scary and we usually flip out about something in the future that very often never happens.
- If it does, all the advance worrying usually won’t make it any better.
When you are stressed out, ask yourself “How are things really at this moment?”
- Are you healthy with a roof over your head? Are your loved ones alive and well?
Stay present and don’t let problems that don’t exist yet ruin your life.
- “Don’t bleed until you’re shot.”
- When a problem arises, it’s important to focus on the solution, not the problem itself.

Treat yourself as if a friend came to you in need (distraught and struggling in their life). How would you react to them?
- Would you beat up on them and make it worse?
- You would probably be kind, gentle and tell them “Everything will be OK.” You would use encouragement.
What do we do with ourselves? Many times we add fuel to the fire.
- We need to be more kind to our self.
- We need to acknowledge our wrongs and pass through them instead of beating ourselves up in our mind for committing such horrible crimes.
