When we allow ourselves to feel attached to something, we are setting ourselves up to want something or to feel that we are missing or lacking something. If we don’t get what we want, we will be unhappy. Since none of us wants to be unhappy, we invest in fear and all the limitations that accompany it.
- Our ego based minds use this fear as an incentive for us to consume more foods, work harder toward an impressive job title, buy more friends, and engage in more sensual pleasures. We do these things and they create imbalances in our bodies and minds. This is what most humans invest in on a daily basis.
When we make decision from a truthful and detached place, our actions are full of energy and inspiration.
Re-source: Rebalance
When we take proper actions to live, we feel an ease of comfort and balance in our bodies and minds. When we engage in actions that are excessive, however, the body defends itself.
- Thinking too much or too quickly can lead to constipation, indigestion, flatulence, or headaches.
Regardless of how we exhibit excessive behaviors, the body and mind will have to invest energy in restoring balance
