ICRAVE Creative Consiousness

Thinking and consciousness are not synonymous.  Thinking is only a small aspect of consciousness.

  • Thought cannot exist without consciousness, but consciousness does not need thought.

“No-mind” is consciousness without thought.  Only in that way is it possible to think creatively, because only in that way does thoughts have any real power.

Thinking- “plays only a subordinate part in the brief, decisive phase of the creative act itself.”

  • The simple reason why the majority of scientists are not creative is not because they don’t know how to think, but because they don’t know how to stop thinking!

Enlightenment means rising above thought.  Free of the involuntary internal dialogue

  • This is inner stillness.
  • Become aware of the stillness.  When you resume thinking, it will be free and creative.

Don’t just think with you head, think with you whole body.  Don’t just listen with you mind, listen with you whole body.

  • Feel the energy field of your inner body as you listen.  That takes attention away from thinking and creates a still space that enables you to truly listen without the mind interfering.
  • Most people don’t know how to listen because the major part of their attention is taken up by thinking.
