As our awareness expands, our responsibility to our children increases and becomes more clear.

  • They want to learn our way of being, how we determine the appropriate reaction to various situations, and our strategy of expectation that helps create the future.
  • This relationship between the generations is the long-term mechanism for human evolution.
    • depends, to a large extent, on how consciously each of us can engage in the process

Guard against the more subtle forms of abuse: draining our children’s energy just by the way we interact.

  • We can also hurt children by taking a totally hands-off approach to discipline.
    • Children must be stopped when they are mistreating others or ignoring the realities of the world.
    • The parent must teach children with a kind of tough love.

Guide without over-controlling.

  • The more love and energy we give, the more rapidly the synchronistic messages come to us, and the more creative, effective, and inspiring will be our individuals lives.

Learning how to live with others – becoming socialized – is what our children come to us for, and to fail in these lessons is to let them down.

  • We must find a way to teach our children consequences without oppressing them in the process.

Our goal  is to always be there with our energy, teaching them our view of the world and our truth of what they must consider in order to have a full life.

  • The mistakes they make on their own often provide important lessons that will prove essential to them later in life.
  • Continue to be creative and to evolve our truth in our own right.
  • Our children are born to us so they can see our lives in action, and in doing so, be able to learn from this growth and to build upon it.
