The literal meaning of “healing” is “becoming whole.”

  • It is possible to have an inner sense of wholeness, perfection, balance, and peace even if the physical body is not perfect.

Healing comes from within, its source is in our very nature as living organisms.

  • Healing is a natural power.
    • Relax and let old Mother Nature do her job.

The body is whole, and all of its parts are connected.  The body is a unified functioning system.

  • There is no separation of mind and body.
    • Ex. Psychological trauma could interfere with the respiratory motions of the central nervous system.

There may be different ways to healing for different people, but there is always a way.  Keep searching.

  • visualization, meditation, vitamins, supplements, hypnotherapy, laying on of hands, healing diets, cranial therapy, osteopaths, herbs, acupuncture, yoga, chiropractic, prayer, massage, psychotherapy, exercise, sunlight, fasting, guided imagery, stress management techniques

the action of nourishing someone or something again

Common reasons for insufficient metabolic energy are inadequate diets, impaired digestion, and improper breathing, all of which are within your control.

  • An adequate diet means one that provides not only enough calories but also all the nutrients necessary for efficient metabolism without any excesses that promote disease.
  • The term “impaired digestion” covers a wide range of ailments, from esophageal reflux to hemorrhoids, with a variety of stomach and intestinal complaints in between.
    • But most digestive problems should be assumed to be rooted in stress, because the mind has an unlimited capacity to interfere with normal operation of the gastrointestinal system.
      • by disturbing the balance of the autonomic (involuntary) nerves that regulate it.
    • Neutralize stress and harmonize the functioning of the autonomic nervous system in order to avoid these problems.
  • Breathing may be the master function of the body, affecting all others.
    • Good breathing is the key.
    • The more are you can breathe in and out, the more nourishment you can give to the central nervous system.
    • The operations of the brain and the nervous system depend on adequate exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
      • as do those of the heart and the circulatory system and all organs of the body.
    • The healing system depends on the circulation of blood to bring energy and materials to a malfunctioning or injured area.
